We have three new savoury snacks in the bar from this week: A classic ham & cheese toasty. It’s made with rosemary ham, cheddar cheese and served with a pickle. A poppy seed roll spread with homemade pesto, roasted zucchini, spinach, rocket, cucumber and A pumpkin seed bagel with red onion jam, roast pumpkin and goats’ cheese. Can also be served warm. Clemence from the bar has come up with a delightfully spicy chai recipe for these chilly days. She was never a fan of the beverage herself, but on her travels in India was persuaded by a persistent waiter to give it a try. This particular brew was peppery, fragrant and bursting with spices and her opinion was changed. Clemence has created a Michelberger version of the beverage, made by crushing ()

The Drink

During Michelberger Music, our Overlook room on the fourth floor became unofficial afterhours music making headquarters at the hotel. Naturally, a libation was usually required, and often obtained at the bar on the way up to the top of the hotel. Cocktails

It’s officially spring in Berlin, however the chill in the air at night reminds us that winter has not completely left us. So with that in mind, the bar team have created a cocktail menu that plays to both seasons…It’s divided into two sections: citrus based and refreshing, and strong and boozy.
