Usually the most inspiring people are also the most humble ones. Local legend Volker wears many colourful caps: carer, musician, restauranteur, DJ… but you’ll never hear him shouting about it! Last week we closed off our bar for five days and operated service out of the lobby. In the small hours of Saturday morning, a beautiful new, all-the-mod-cons, proper cocktail bar emerged from the dust! Our clever cocktail team have come up with some new additions for the list: Drew’s creation is the fountain of youth rum punch, made with hazelnut, honey, lime and coconut. On November 3rd the new album from Liima comes out. Called 1982, the first single (and title track) was written right here at the hotel! At the end of summer last year Casper, Rasmus, Tatu and Mads stayed with us for a week and spent their time up on the fourth floor in the Overlook, writing, rehearsing and playing new music.
