Tom Gatza is a young musician from Hamburg who over the past year or so has come in and played our piano as life in the lobby continued around. Tom is about to release his debut EP Melo and so this time we wanted to make it a little more official! On Sunday 7th October, together with his drummer Max Schneider, Tom will play an intimate matinée show in at the hotel, showcasing his melancholy and minimalist compositions. From 5pm, ()

I’m A Kombo

Last week I’m A Kombo returned to the hotel to present The Social Act – their extraordinary dining experience. Over four hours, 16 guests were treated to delicious food and delectable wines. However The Social Act is about much more than eating and imbibing. The participants were invited to interact with their food and with each other, to complete dishes from the ingredients before them, and were taken to different spaces within the hotel ()

On Easter Sunday our Stammtisch was a hive of activity. Some of our hotel guests spent the morning painting Easter eggs in many colours and many varieties (definitely our first time seeing a banana easter egg)!

HaHa HuHu Concert

Aaron Roche is a singer-songwriter with an ear for the avant-garde. He’s a contemporary composer who sings American folk music, and an instrumentalist who works as a recording engineer. He plays guitar in the touring bands of Sufjan Stevens, Anohni and Lower Dens, and he’s composed music for the American Ballet Theatre. He’s also played trumpet with his father’s brass ensemble!
