Aaron Roche is a singer-songwriter with an ear for the avant-garde. He’s a contemporary composer who sings American folk music, and an instrumentalist who works as a recording engineer.
He plays guitar in the touring bands of Sufjan Stevens, Anohni and Lower Dens, and he’s composed music for the American Ballet Theatre. He’s also played trumpet with his father’s brass ensemble!
Last year he released his second album HaHa HuHu. At once wistful, sensitive and playful, the album brings together all the facets of his musical life. The album has been described as being “as captivating as it is beautiful and strange” and “a spellbinding hymn”.
On Sunday 1 April, Aaron will play a matinee show in our lobby. 3pm for 4pm showtime, with music from our resident DJ Volker before and after. Feel warmly invited.
